  • Create and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and enterprise governance standards.
Systems Integration & Platform Work
  • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and other SaaS platforms. (e.g., REST APIs, middleware connectors)
  • Participate in CRM backend logic, data synchronization tasks, and service orchestration where applicable.
Testing, Debugging & Quality Assurance
  • Write and execute unit tests, automated tests, and component tests.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
DevOps & Deployment Support
  • Support ongoing CI/CD workflows and deployments. Familiarity with pipelines and tools is a plus.
Engineering Process & Collaboration
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback through pull request workflows.
  • Contribute to sprint ceremonies including backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product owners, and customer stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, and documentation.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment processes to ensure reliable release cycles.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Participate in technical discovery sessions and solution design discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support customer-facing troubleshooting efforts when deep technical expertise is required.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Present technical updates during sprint reviews or stakeholder meetings.

  • Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Development Environment & Tooling
  • Proficiency using modern IDEs such as JetBrains tools (Rider, IntelliJ IDEA, CLion) or Visual Studio for efficient debugging, refactoring, and code analysis.
  • Experience with structured source control workflows (Git branching strategies, pull requests, peer reviews).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as TeamCity, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar systems.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, PR workflows) or comparable tools for sprint planning, backlog management, and code review collaboration.
Modern Backend & Ops Practices
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment models.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Understanding of performance profiling, caching strategies, and system optimization.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Prior experience integrating with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce APIs, middleware).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing).
Soft Skills & Professional Traits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time structure while reliably delivering quality outcomes.
  • Adaptive learner who stays current with evolving technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on development with collaboration and process participation.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
