Coordinator of Tutoring and Accessibility Services:
Role: Provide leadership and oversight for the Tutoring program and Accessibility Services. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate advocate for students, possess strong organizational skills, and be knowledgeable in best practices for accessibility and tutoring services.

The salary range for this position is $22.22 to $33.34 per hour.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership for the Tutoring and Accessibility Services department.
- 20% Recruit, train, and supervise peer tutors.
- 20% Guide and advocate for students in accessing and utilizing effective accommodation services, providing empathetic support.
- 15% Manage the online tutoring platform's activity and evaluate effectiveness.
- 10% Collaborate with faculty on student accommodations, ensuring FERPA compliance.
- 10% Develop and implement accessibility policies, including those for student housing and universal design in learning.
- 10% Manage vendor relationships (e.g., Upswing, Kurzweil, Genio) and coordinate IT implementation.
- 5% Coordinate seamlessly with external agencies, such as Vocational Rehabilitation Services, to ensure effective service delivery to students with disabilities.
- 5% Assist the Testing Center with check-in and technology for accommodated testing.
- 5% Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience required. Experience in technical education or workforce training is beneficial. Background in literacy, counseling, or special education preferred. Strong understanding of ADA and ADAAA is essential.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in education or related field is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential given the extensive internal and external contact required for information exchange, relationship building, and fostering cooperation.
- Other Skills: Possess strong management and teamwork skills, including budgetary and supervisory experience. Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to welcome and make students comfortable in new environments. Be computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
